What you’ll do

Reporting directly to the SSP Manager, and part of the Global Platform Services team, The Media and Inventory Quality Manager is responsible for leading and operationalizing all supply focused quality control initiatives both from a programmatic buying perspective as well as through direct partner integrations. This individual will have extensive knowledge of digital advertising, specifically programmatic media buying, as well as experience with supply quality and measurement tools and providers. This key member of the Supply Services Team will also collaborate closely with other key stakeholders within the organization such as the SSP Manager, The Ad Operations Teams as well as Business Development and Sales to ensure brand safety benchmarks are maintained and respected across all of Samsung Ads supply channels. This leader will also drive educational initiatives on brand safety internally with various teams and departments. 


The Media and Inventory Quality Manager position is based in Montreal and may require occasional travel to key US business markets to meet with partners as needed.  If you're interested in joining a rapidly growing team working to build a unique, world-class advertising sales organization with a relentless focus on customer experience, you've come to the right place.



  • Monitor inventory and supply across various supply channels
  • Be an authority on how our Trading Team and Media Buyers transact on our DSP as well as their challenges; specifically inventory quality
  • Leverage internal reporting tools as well as partner with Data Measurement teams to review supply quality and monitor for inconsistencies or suspicious behaviour
  • Actively use third party IVT Platforms and Partnerships for additional transparency on campaign delivery
  • Work closely with Ad Operations team and supply partners to provide insights into delivery issues and block and ban questionable supply
  • Consult on best practices and recommendations with internal stakeholders on how to best leverage our supply partnerships in the safest way possible
  • Be the authority of fraud verification and safety measures for our buying platforms
  • Understand the programmatic supply ecosystem and advise on best practices on how to safely access inventory and supply while maintaining scale
  • Be the internal expert and lead on IVT related questions and projects and work closely with internal stakeholders to share knowledge and educate



  • 3+ years of relevant work experiences in the programmatic advertising, specifically in managing, optimizing, analyzing campaigns or supply at a digital ad agency, major publisher, DSP or SSP
  • Expert on Viewability, Optimization, PMP Deals, and ad fraud measurement with ad-verification vendors such as MOAT, DoubleVerify, Nielsen DAR and others
  • Expert on inventory management as it relates to prioritization
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of digital advertising standards such as VAST, VPAID, OpenRTB, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time
  • Strong track record of developing relationships with customers (internal and external), suppliers and co-workers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to lead conversations with Senior Executives and counterparts
  • Excellent analytical, operational, and business intelligence skills
  • Superior knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, JIRA and Operative.One
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Valued programming knowledge: XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Python and others
