Senior Digital Ad Operations Specialist - West Coast

Samsung has developed a proprietary ad platform that leverages unique first party TV data to help brands connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets and our SMART TVs. The Samsung Ad Platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory.

What you’ll do:

In this position you will be required to manage online campaigns  while working hands-on with the company's platforms: DSP/SSP and ad server. You will have the unique opportunity to manage national advertising campaigns for the most known advertisers in USA, Canada and all over the world. You will be working on west coast hours which are from noon until 8pm.



  • Execute digital media campaigns (display and video): set up, ad trafficking, targeting, creative uploading/sync and testing, audience assignment and report generation
  • Lead on-boarding and training of new team members
  • Mentor junior staff, help to manage their projects and day-to-day activities
  • Be a first layer of troubleshooting for the team and escalate to the relevant shareholders when needed: help to decipher reporting inconsistencies with 3rd party ad server and external vendors. Identify serving issues, inventory quality opportunities, and other hurdles in executing seamless and successful campaigns
  • Master and stretch relevant tools, explore new functions and question them
  • Participate in continuously optimizing the operational process and quality of service of the team
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to help define new features and improve platform capabilities



  • 2 to 5 years work experience
  • Hands-on experience on one media buying platform such as Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, etc.
  • Knowledge of ad-serving or ad-verification vendors capabilities
  • Understanding of the full life cycle of a campaign including but not limited to briefing, strategy, planning/buying, execution, and reporting
  • Customer service mentality; professional communication skills, both internally and externally with customers
  • Attentive to details and is rigorous
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Bilingual English and French (written and spoken)
  • University degree in marketing, commerce or IT/IS
  • Good communication skills and capacity/willingness to work in a multi-team environment
  • Be resourceful, inventive and passionate about Internet technologies
  • A "can-do" attitude
