Product Manager

AdGear (belonging to the Samsung Ads business), is an Advertising Technology Company located in the heart of Old Montreal. AdGear focuses on enabling brands to connect with Samsung TV audiences as they are exposed to digital media across all devices. Samsung has developed a proprietary ad platform that leverages unique first-party TV data to help brands connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets and our SMART TVs. The Samsung Ad Platform delivers a high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory.

What you'll do

As a member of the product team, you will report to our Product Director. The chosen candidate will be joining AdGear at an exciting time of growth and opportunities, where product managers are key contributors to the evolution of the core platform. As a Product Manager dedicated to the sales side of our product:


You will:

  • Define and manage the product roadmap for our sellable solutions
  • Work closely with the sales teams to gather detailed functional requirements to meet corporate objectives,
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify feature details and prioritize backlog
  • Document functional specifications, map transaction flows, and operational processes

  • Capable of managing many stakeholders across different cities and countries.
  • Proficient in quantifying value and effort and possess a sound framework to justify backlog prioritization.
  • A great communicator that can inspire their team by conveying the vision and business value.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum format.
  • Contribute to product vision and roadmap
  • Available to the scrum team to clarify requirements and make decisions


What we are expecting of you:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters in a technical field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering or in an analytical field such as Business or Economics with a strong interest in technology;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in software development and 3+ years as a PM in an Agile environment;
  • Experience with advertising technologies and the digital advertising ecosystem;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (English and French) to collaborate interact with cross-functional teams located across multiple cities and continents;
  • Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, ambitious, and strong ability to follow-through on commitments;
  • Up-to-date understanding of market trends and interest in following emerging technologies;
  • Passionate self-starter who shows a lot of initiative, stays ahead of problems, and has a sense of ownership and responsibility;
  • Collaborative nature to work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams;
  • Some travel required.
