AdGear is an advertising technology company located in Montreal that has been recently acquired by Samsung Electronics, but operates as an independent, fully-owned subsidiary. This means that we get to work on big complex projects with stakeholders located across the globe.  


AdGear’s Operations team is looking for an energetic and passionate team player to help define and deliver technology and operations related projects (such as HR and IT). The candidate would also be involved during the project’s needs gathering and analysis activities. The Project Manager/Business Analyst position offers an exceptional opportunity to work across the board with all AdGear teams as well as with Samsung teams from around the globe.

The ideal candidate would have a solid digital projects management background, be very organized and focused, possess great communication skills and be an enthusiastic team player. The candidate should have a keen interest to grow and learn in this challenging, fast-paced digital advertising environment. 

Responsibilities Summary

  • Being responsible for defining, planning, monitoring the execution and closing of the projects
  • Working directly with AdGear and Samsung team members (Business, HR, IT, Engineering, Infrastructure, etc.) on analysis, scoping, planning, execution, and reporting
  • In collaboration with key stakeholders and internal subject matter experts, conducting needs analysis and business specifications formalization
  • Preparing the project Scope of Work with the input of different teams
  • Ensuring the control of project by working with the VP Operations & HR on dealing with priorities, issues, risks, dependencies, and changes
  • Ensuring deliverables adhere to project objectives and quality standards

Qualifications and Skills
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Project management methodologies, practices, and tools
  • Creative and innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all levels with different teams and offices
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Motivated to learn and work in the digital advertising industry

Required Professional Designation:

  • A university degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is an asset

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management and business analysis
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex digital projects
  • Excellent organizational skill with demonstrated ability to execute projects and deliver according to objectives, scope, on time and on budget
  • Experience with being a liaison between internal teams
  • Experience in digital media and advertising technologies preferred
