What you’ll do


Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales for The Americas, the Regional Sales Director (RSD) will be a key member of the sales management team and will be responsible for hiring and scaling a team, generating new business and contributing to the go to market strategy for all products and solutions within your region. The individual should have a passion for TV driven data and have a pulse for new multi-channel advertising technologies. This chosen leader must be able to think strategically, anticipate how buying decisions are made, uncover the business needs of key clients and have a proven ability to help the team close deals. Additionally, this executive will be the consummate team-player and have the ability to work collaboratively across the sales organization within a fluid and fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate is recognized as being both a sales leader and a sales operator with a clear execution-oriented ability to visualize, formulate strategy, and actualize results. The RSD will be a highly visible leader both inside and outside of the organization and representing our almost 80 year world class global brand.


The Regional Sales Director position is based in Toronto with domestic Canadian and US travel as needed and periodic visits to headquarters in Korea. Setting the direction and strategy for our Canadian Ad Sales team, to provide the strategy & framework for our ongoing sales execution and business success

Being a trusted advisor to the Head of Sales and representing the market conditions in Canada  

Primary business partner to the Head of Sales, assisting him in all facets of sales planning, budgeting, quota deployment, territory planning, and long-term planning to Achieve annual revenue targets and goals for Canada.

Leading and managing Canadian Ad Sales team and maximizing revenue through development, implementation and ongoing improvement of sales and service programs and initiatives

Building and hiring a thriving Sales team to implement this vision with primary ownership over the systems and processes required to enable our sales, marketing, and customer success teams to prosper

Establishing effective analysis of sales force trends and performance in an effort to identify greater efficiencies

Leading cross functional initiatives and collaborating closely with ad operations, product, marketing, client operations, and finance

Championing Sales to the support functions by creating the monitoring processes to hold other teams to account on deliverables committed for sales

Recruit, train, and develop top-tier talent.

Initiate account penetration by enhancing customer relationships and training and developing the sales team.

Negotiate and close upfront and transactional partnerships by establishing strong working relationships with media agencies, top 100 brands, and relevant industry partners.

Become the voice of sales and enhance our current product set by informing product managers of customer and market needs.

Manage and maintain revenue pipelines to achieve targets.

Prepare and present territory financial performance reports

Help determine territories, sales goals, and appropriate product mix for each individual seller.


Bachelor in business administration or other related field is required; MBA is preferred.

10+ years of sales experiences within a major media publisher focused on advertising sales to Fortune 500 brands and media agencies

Relevant experience developing detailed strategic plans, revenue projections, and territory reports.

Proven track record of driving sales growth at a major publisher.

Business partnering and influencing skills supporting sales leadership

Sales strategy & planning skills

Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time

Strong leadership skills with experience managing managers

Excellent analytical, business intelligence skills

Experience scaling a mid-size company to a billion dollars in sales revenue

Strong Executive presence and presentation skills



Good communication skills and capacity/willingness to work in a multi-teams environment.

Be resourceful, inventive and passionate about advertising technologies.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and resolve problems in a timely manner;

Ability to work autonomously, multi-task and work in a fast-paced and stressful environment;

Be proactive, addressing potential problems before they occur;

Strong attention to detail;

Ability to prioritize & work well under pressure

A strong sense of responsibility and initiative and an ability to complete tasks accurately

Good communication skills and capacity/willingness to work in a multi-teams environment.

Excellent communications skills in English verbal and written. French is a nice to have.
