About “GPS”

The Global Platform Operations’ mission is to deliver quality ad delivery services and operations support to the tech stack across all markets around the globe in a standardized, centralized and efficient manner.

Currently working very closely with all Sales and Operations teams in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific (APSBO) and Latin America (LASBO).

 

What you’ll do

As a Technical Platform Specialist, you will be a member of our Global Platform Services Team & work closely with our self-serve client solutions management (CSMs) and sales teams.

In this role, you will be tasked to assist the CSMs in troubleshooting issues that our self-serve customers are experiencing, including, but not limited to, technical issues with creative tags, campaigns not delivering as expected, etc. You'll also be responsible to answer technical questions about our ad stack like how to effectively use our Samsung DSP API.

We are looking for someone who can aid in the technical support of our self-serve customers. This opportunity will require that you work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. You will report to the Technical Platform Manager.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in educational and training sessions regarding the Samsung DSP platform with internal teams as well as with self-serve customers
  • Proactively and reactively resolve and/or escalate technical issues and communicate potential challenges and consequences to appropriate counterpart
  • Contribute to internal and external documentation on the DSP platform
  • Work with the self-serve CSMs to troubleshoot (validating setup, creative assets, tags and trackers, etc) self-serve client campaigns, including, but not limited to, delivery issues
  • Support customers by advising on campaign setup required to drive campaign specific objectives (KPIs)
  • Work with the self-serve CSMs to validate campaign setup to ensure performance (KPIs) will be in line with customer expectations
  • Provide recommendations and best practices when setting up campaigns to avoid technical issues
  • Analyse technical problems faced by customers and relay the appropriate information to the Product and Engineering teams in order to find the appropriate solution
  • Give feedback and insights to the Product team on features that would improve internal team efficiency as well as satisfy our self-serve customers
  • Work on special initiatives that will drive operational efficiency across teams

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in DSP platforms such as DoubleClick Bid Manager, AppNexus, Adelphic, Simpli.fi, The Trade Desk and any other DSPs, RTB media (DSPs, SSPs, Exchanges or in-house ad-network tools)
  • Setup, monitoring and optimization of online advertising campaigns
  • Expert in Programmatic advertising, Creative Management, Pixel Management
  • Good understanding of digital advertising standards and more specifically with VAST, VPAID, CTV, etc
  • Well versed in Viewability, Optimization, Private marketplace deals and ad fraud measurement with Ad-verification and Audience verification vendors such as MOAT, DoubleVerify, Nielsen DAR and others
  • Proficient with Excel: vlookup, pivot tables and other such functions
  • Client-side programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of data-interchange formats like XML and JSON
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers (internal and external), suppliers and co-workers
  • Adapt to fast-paced environment and take direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to assess priorities and multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time
  • Knowledge of server-side programming languages like Python and Ruby
  • Knowledge of query languages like SQL (MySQL, Postgres, etc)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, JIRA and Operative.One
